May 9                 Smoke On The Water Backyard Cook-Off

First Annual Smoke on the Water Backyard Cook Off along the banks of the Tennessee River in Historic Clifton, Tennessee. Contest is open to amateurs and professionals. Three categories. Registration deadline is 9:00 am on May 9th. Registration fee for contest entries.

Free family music festival features country gospel, bluegrass gospel, southern gospel.  Door prizes including musical instruments.  Home-cooked concessions provided by local churches.  Mule and wagon rides.  Open mic Thursday & Friday evenings at 5 and Saturday afternoon.  Free admission and free camping.

June 13                Tour de Wayne Bicycle Ride

July 3               Annual Fireworks Show

Called one of the best home-town fireworks shows around!  Starts at dark.  Games and food available before fireworks begin.  Free admission.
