Business BootCamp kicks off on March 7th and runs through April 11th at Columbia State University, Clifton Campus. Entrepreneurship Program, a 36-hour facilitated course, condensed into a 18 hours, 6 weeks course that coaches aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs through business planning, pitching and tracking, including financial forecasting to ensure their business concept is feasible. Three sessions are planned for Wayne County during 2017 with the first 6-week session running March 7th – April 11th on Every Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Three other sessions are being planned for adult learners between now and June 30, 2018. a special youth entrepreneurship session is being planned for Summer 2017. Business BootCamp is seeking to reach artisans, makers, bakers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, business owners, or anyone who is seeking to start or grow a business, or expanding a hobby to create income through self-employment as a strategy to create meaningful work?
Participants will benefit from coaching by a certified facilitator, proven curriculum used in step-by-step workbooks, small group exercises, local experts as guest speakers, and a 3-month license for the online business planning toolset LivePlan. The program is not only opened to the people of Wayne County , but also for those who live in the surrounding counties like Lawrence, Giles., Perry, Hardin, and Lewis counties in Tennessee.
