Monday, March 10 City of Clifton Ice Cream Social and Budget Fair
6 pm to 8 pm at Frank Hughes School Cafeteria. Bring your ideas and questions and enjoy an ice cream delight at Clifton's first Ice Cream Social and Budget Fair! Open House with city department heads and elected officials begins at 6pm followed by a city budget presentation at 7:30 pm. Saturday, March 15 Petals and Pearls
Registration begins at 8:30 am at Waynesboro Middle School. All 4th through 8th grade girls and their guardians are invited to participate in this free educational and fun event just for petals and pearls!
Saturday, April 5 April Showers Home and Garden Show
Begins at 8 am at the National Guard Armory on US64 Bypass in Waynesboro. Vendor setup at 6am, Doors open at 8am. Find everything you need for the home and garden during the show. Area representatives will have their products and services on display. Watch for the insert in the April 2nd edition of the Wayne County News! Booth space available indoors or outside $200. Bicycle rides of varying lengths through rural Wayne and sections of Lewis and Perry counties. Tour via the antebellum Clifton Turnpike and visit sites like the Buffalo and the Tennessee rivers, Crazyhorse Recreational Park, Tennessee Fitness Spa. Wayne County Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and ends at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the Waynesboro Sportsplex, on Hwy. 13 South.
