The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, partnering with the Greater Clifton Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, announce that we will hold a Ribbon Cutting and celebration at the T.S. Stribling Museum on April 5th at 1:00pm, 300 East Water Street in Clifton, TN.
Mr. Stribling is a Pulitzer Prize winner for his book "The Store" which was written in 1932, and is the second book in a trilogy set in Lauderdale County Alabama. He was born in Clifton, and spent most of his adulthood residing in this home, which now serves as his museum.
Come down and listen to stories from locals who knew him, and celebrate the re-opening of this piece of Wayne County history.
